Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in Brown
Milani Liquif'eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in Brown
I have never used an eyeliner like this! This goes on like nothing I've tried before, it's so easy to apply as it's extremely creamy & smooth and almost feels like it's melting, but it's just that soft. This is blendable/smudgeable but it does set after a short time & then it is on there. This lasts all day on my eyes and doesn't move or transfer onto my upper eyelid. Now for the bad news...I got this in Florida & as far as I know, you can't get this in Canada unless you buy it online, try Cherry Culture. I have heard rumour that Rexall Drugs carries these so I will be checking that out and letting you know. If you can get your hands on it...try it in any color!
Honorable Mention
Physician's Formula Talc Free Mineral Eye Liner Pencil in Brown
This is a great eyeliner for anyone with particularly sensitive eyes. It is the most gentle eyeliner I've found & never irritates my eyes, even if I apply it to my waterline. This doesn't have the staying power of the Milani pencil & will fade quicker, but I apply a dark brown shadow over top to set this pencil and that definitely works well. I also like the smudging brush on the end of the pencil. This is also easy to find at any drugstore that carries Physician's formula.

Bad Gal Smoldering Black Eye Pencil by Benefit
I think that this eyeliner has it's place, but for what I'm looking for in an eyeliner it just doesn't work for me. This is an extremely thick pencil so very difficult to get anything but a thicker line. It also works great if you want to smudge it out for a smokey look, but I just typically don't wear that kind of eye and if I do, I still find this too much for me. I also don't think it has the best staying power & seems to need to be set with a primer and a shadow, in order to last. It retails for about $20USD, which is more than twice the price of the Milani or the Physicians Formula. I think it has it's place, but it's just not in my make-up drawer.
