Man what a day I've had. Do you ever have one of those Monday's where you feel you need to seriously re-evaluate some of the choices you've made in your life.
I was debating posting this because I was worried it might come off a titch bit..um....how do I say it....?
Bitchy.
But then my Monday happened and it just felt right.

I did let the 'freshman' thing go, as you'll see..so perhaps a short trip on the high road?
No? Okay maybe not.
- AnonymousFeb 21, 2012 03:37 PMI have used Origins for 13 years, since I was a feshman in high school. That being said, I have to tell you: you have a lot of your facts incorrect about what is in the Origins products and what the benefits are. Perhaps you should do more scientific research before claiming ingredients are damaging, pointless, and "fragrance-y" essential oils. All of the products are tested on a volunteer panel in a scientific setting before released to the general public. One product was tested for over five years. No offense intended, honestly, and obviously not every product is going to be perfect for everyone but...perhaps you should research more before blasting a company without all the facts.ReplyDelete
- Hello Anonymous - so glad you feel confident enough in your comments to give a name and link it to your blogger profile, no? Hmmm... Anyway, you have obviously not read my review correctly. What you are referring to is the review that I quoted from Beautypedia..Paula Begoun's site. Those were not my words as I clearly indicated. Maybe you are the one who should get their facts straight before 'blasting'. Have a great day, I await any further comment or an apology. Thanks Anonymous!ReplyDelete
Well stated not too bitchy for me
ReplyDeleteYes, I've had days like that before. You're definitely not alone. And woah, Anonymous, why are you anonymous? Trying to hide behind something I guess...
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, sorry about that Monday thing. I would like to petition to erase all Mondays, how does that sound?!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, no you were not too bitchy. I've had people comment on my blog who have obviously not read through the content before posting their comment and I find it disappointing, but have yet to receive a comment like this one and I have no idea how I would handle it, but I think you did fine.
Lots of hugs to you, dear & hope your future 6-day week works out better for you! ;) :D

AMEN SISTER. I'm constantly frustrated by Anonymous bloggers who blast those of us willing to share our thoughts and opinions out there. And you are one of the most genuine bloggers out there. Your product reviews are very well written and honest and I feel like you give the best advice.
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on.
Ahhhhh those dumb anonymous... someone has time to lose, it seems! Seriously, fuck them Tracy! About one year ago, it has been brought to my attention that I was bitched about in a forum made purely to bitch beauty gurus, bloggers and YouTubers. A lot of my favorite bloggers were on that too, and you know what? Instead of being offensed, it made me proud. Yes, PROUD! Because when you have haters, you are being talked about, you get attention, that gets you traffic to your blog, then people get the word going and you have some nice people to take your side, and it goes on and on! If we are important enough to stir jealousy, why not? Well, that's my take.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've been meaning to THANK YOU SO MUCH for your kind comments on my blog, especially about the hair dyes! Yes I've checked Well.ca but these hair dyes are sadly a bit pricey for me ): I was going to try the one from Avon but then it has been brought to my attention that they had started testing on animals again, along with Estée Lauder and Mary Kay, to be able to market their products to China. I'm incredibly disappointed -_-
Anyway, thank you so much for the continuous support Tracy, and let them hate, because they are just jealous (:
Haha, I am pretty sure Paula's done her research.
ReplyDeleteHahaha good for you Tracy!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind, sweet and encouraging comments. They mean so much and rather than add my two cents I'll let your words speak for themselves. Appreciate your support ladies!
ReplyDeleteI so delete the anonymous peeps that try to post on my blog. I had a guy try to post a comment one time one a post I did about 2 brands of shaving cream. He was bashing the store brand vs. the regular brand and told me in the post that he uses that actual brand to j*** off. Seriously? WTH is wrong with people? Needless to say that comment never got posted.
ReplyDeleteGIRL!!! First of all, even if those were your direct words people need to take a deep breath and understand that this is YOUR BLOG. You can say and do ANYTHING you want. If the sky is blue but you say it's green well then have at it. People have seriously lost their minds and hiding behind "Anonymous"...just sad.
ReplyDeleteOK, I just read Erin @ Tropical Minds comment and OH HELL NO! That is on another level. Unfortunately the bad is going to probably hit all of us and I'm going to give those people the finger and probably wish a serious case of diarrhea on them. (that is a running joke on my radio morning show and I love it):-)

LOL - sorry about your day girly, but awesome response to 'anonymous'!! Hope your week went better for you!!
ReplyDeleteYou helped me a lot indeed and reading this your article I have found many new and useful information about this subject.
