The Winners of Good Housekeeping's First Annual Anti-Aging Awards

My step-mom Teresa recently told me that Good HouseKeeping had conducted a comprehensive test of a number of anti-aging products, to find the best of the best.  Want to see the results?

The Winners of Good Housekeeping's First Annual Anti-Aging Awards
In our 2010 Anti-Aging Awards — a new annual feature — the Good Housekeeping Research Institute tested 90 products on 820 volunteers, conducted more than 3,000 lab tests, and tallied 1,800+ questionnaires to find the 26 best anti-aging beauty products. Find out how we tested anti-aging skin products during 18 months of research and see how the testing equipment works. Also, meet the anti-aging experts behind this massive undertaking.

I will definitely be trying some of the winners.  If any of you have tried these, with or without success, I'd be curious to hear.

  1. Thanks for sharing. I'm on the look out for a good anti-aging eye creme. The only one I tried on the list were the Olay products which I had a slight allergic reaction to, so would not recommend the Olay products to people with sensitive skin.

  2. I have to say I've not had good luck with Olay products either. I purchased one of their serums & had to give it to my step-mom because I could not stand the smell. Funny thing is that she couldn't even detect much of a fragrance. I have had great luck with some Boots No. 7 products so the serum is #1 on my list of things to get from this list.

  3. I love it when other people do the tests on products, sort through everything and come up with what they recommend. I know the products won't work for everyone, but as a consumer it is so confusing standing in front of facial products and wondering if you are really getting something that works.

  4. Often we have to take results posted in magazines with a grain of salt, given that some of the companies are their advertisers. This one appears to be a bit different, given the amount of research they did & the efforts they made to show people how they came to their findings. The Boots no. 7 serum is 1st on my list, I'll be sure to report back.

  5. Hi Tracy,
I find the smell is overwhelming as well on the Olay products - may be we have sensitive noses :) Thanks for the Boots recommendations. I'll have to give it a try as those little fine lines around my eyes aren't going to stay little forever :)
